Our Markets

New Forest Makers Markets have been set up for local artists and crafters to showcase their talent and sell their handmade products, as well as for the public to buy these locally produced handmade creations.

We love to support creativity everywhere!

Our Markets in Lymington run monthly on the first Saturday of the month from 10am till 4pm, in the stunning town of Lymington, a port town on the west bank of the Lymington River on the Solent. The market is held in the Masonic Hall just off of the bustling high street.

Our Lyndhurst Markets are held in another beautiful town within the stunning tourist destination of the New Forest. The markets take place in the Lyndhurst Community Centre and are also held monthly on a Saturday from 10am till 4pm.

We at New Forest Makers Markets, thrive on knowing that we make a continuous positive impact in supporting small independent businesses and help our local economy by encouraging people to 'Shop Local'.

I hope you enjoy visiting the Markets

Kerri Brock

I am a mum of four boys, so like many other mothers I am a taxi driver, chef, cleaner, problem solver, driving instructor, bank teller and cheerleader to all of my boys. I also have two fur children (sprockerpoos) who love nothing more than wallowing in muddy puddles and stealing biscuits.

Unfortunately i have had to make the difficult decision to pass the baton to someone else to keep this wonderful business thriving, i have loved building this business up from scratch and seeing all the wonderful makers that this business has helped.

as of the 18th June the business will be in the very capable hands of Sarah Topp, her small business is called Timeless Tide Gifts, she creates wonderful pebble art and has been a regular trader with me for almost a year.

Sarah has been selling her products full time since last September and for her, this is just a natural progression/addition to her entrepreneurial spirit. Sarah understands the needs of our artisans and has a passion like I do for creating a platform for local artisans to sell their products. She has the enthusiasm and joy that I know will keep this wonderful business flourishing and evolving in a way I would have done if I was able to continue. I am thrilled to have found someone that I believe will continue this business in the same vane and spirit that I would have, if I could have!

Thank you Sarah for being you, you've got this!

Help and support behind the scenes

Without the love and support of my wonderful family New forest Makers Markets would not exist. I am fortunate to have a constant encouragement to keep going:

  •     Alice (my sons girlfriend), who created my logo and set up my website for me.

  •     My Husband Dale and son Dalton who keep me grounded and level headed and assist often with gazebos, loading and unloading the van.

  •     Bryony for pretty much the same thing alongside helping me on market days when i need her, bringing me coffee, cleaning up my kitchen and cooking tea when I'm on a 12 hour stint at the computer because I have a deadline.

  •     My friends Hannah and Claire who attend most of my markets either in person ( with sons in tow) or via video call to check in that I'm okay. The rest of my family and friends cheering on from the sides with words of wisdom and encouragement and visiting when they can.

And of course all of the wonderful makers who regularly attend my markets, it is the makers that maker the market what it is, a bubbly fun shopping experience for all:

  •     Melanie who has given up lots of time to help other makers to join our social media groups and get logged on to our app.

  •     Kelly who has created my logo on badges for my uniform.

  •     Chris ( Kelly's other half)who at every market they attend tells hilarious dad jokes that always has us in stitches.

  •     All the wonderful staff that we hire the halls from, all so kind and helpful.

There is so much more to New Forest Makers Markets, we are all one big family, in it together bringing creativity to the forest and appreciating creativity and shopping local together.
